I think everyone knows this in their hearts, but often times people convince themselves into thinking that external factors are the source of their failure, disappointment, and unhappiness.
 Sometimes, we get so busy competing against our competition that we forget to learn from them.  We are trained to point out our own strengths and the weaknesses of our competition, but this only tells part of the story.

We’ve all been told that our attitude determines our altitude. Most people have much more control over their own happiness and success than they dare to realize.
