Quit doubting yourself

There will be times in life where you may lose hope in something. That time for you could be right now. You’re going to want to give up, but I have one word for you: Don’t.

You need to keep going through whatever you have on your mind, because it is nothing more than your gut giving you the doubt.

This doubt is there to keep you from reaching your own success. Essentially, doubt is your enemy.

Everyone gets these feelings, including myself. It’s only a matter of knowing how to react to it.

How do you react to it?

Do you simply give up because of it?

Or more importantly, why do you doubt? Is it fear of what others are thinking about you? Fear of failure? Fear of difficulty?

Listen, it’s time for you to snap out of it before doubt takes over your mind, attitude, and habits. You need to stop right now, or you’ll be controlled by it.

If there’s anything more that I hate seeing, it’s that people doubt themselves before taking action.

A little about myself

I used to be a big doubter. I cared way too much about what others thought of me, how I will likely fail, and a whole bunch of other excuses. This was how I set myself into failure.

What I never gave the chance to think about was the positive things that may result in me; the chances of me succeeding and living the successful life that I wanted. As soon as I was able to think differently, my world changed two-fold.

From this process, I’ve realized that if I say to myself that I will get something, then I will find a way to get it. But the opposite also stays true—that if I don’t think I’ll get it, I will not obtain it.

Here’s a quote from Henry Ford that sums up this explanation.

“Whether you believe you can or can’t, you’re right”.

What does this really mean?

It means that your belief system is what determines your success and failure. You bet that it is more powerful than you think. It is your action and determination that gets you the result that you want.

Will you cross paths with doubters? Haters?

Absolutely, even if you don’t like it one bit. We have no choice over this. But you do have a choice to not let these things get to you. If you do allow such a thing, you’re going to have a hard time believing in yourself.

Moments where you encounter negative things and blockage, is only a matter of proving to yourself that you’ll do what it takes to get over it.

No one that you look up to has ever avoided criticisms, hateful comments—or anything that you can imagine. They’ve all went through it.

But more importantly; they all went through these things while believing in themselves. They were not going to let some external factor determine their belief.

What do you say now?

Do you believe in yourself? Or do you still have doubt? Because if you don’t learn to see the potential that you have… Then you might as well not even try, because he who says that he or can’t, are usually both right.

However, if you do believe in yourself, then I should make you aware you that the path is going to be rough, but it will be worth it when you reach the end.
